Tri tip is a muscle meat with a lot of flavor. The meat has a nice, dark color with a light veining of fat and a long thread. Tri tip is also called slip of the loin, donkey, groin or the newlyweds piece.

Tri tip is cut from the skin of the beef, close to the underside of the long loin.
How to prepare the Tri Tip UMI tasty
Remove the Tri tip from the refrigerator about 45 – 60 minutes before preparation. Put butter or oil in the pan and bring to heat. A core temperature of 51 to 57 degrees ensures a nice medium color.
